Hi there! My name is Laurie (she/her) and I am a biracial theatre artist with Indian and French-Canadian settler origins. I work as a playwright, theatre director, Playback Theatre artist and theatre teacher. My deep love for storytelling, collaboration and artistic innovation guides me in creating meaningful theatrical experiences that build community and invite reflection. For the past 7 years, I've loved teaching theatre courses for children, teenagers and adults!

I am a painter who also works in murals, artist books, drawing and installation. I have experience teaching people of all ages and have found that teaching abstraction is a wonderful way to encourage open mindedness, self-acceptance and exploration, all while learning about visual art concepts and ideas. The needs of teachers and students are important to me, and I am happy to accommodate both.

Hello! I'm an actor, writer, director, choreographer, and stage combat teacher! I've worked with multiple High Schools and Colleges across Ontario, facilitating workshops for teens and young adults, offering an action-packed exploration of the fundamentals of public speaking, devised theatre, and stage combat. Focused on confidence, creativity, and respect, my sessions help students grow as performers, communicators, and collaborators in a safe, inclusive space. I hope to meet you soon!

I’m Joy, a Venezuelan-Canadian theatre performer, storyteller, and teacher. As a theatre artist, my story features heavily in what I create. I know from my personal experience that finding a sense of belonging in the world is challenging. I also know there are a million reasons why youth don’t feel at home in their own skin. Through physical, vocal, and written theatre exercises, I hope to give students the tools to explore their own lives, and find empowerment by telling their own stories.

Movement modality Fighting Monkey (FM) and play nurture an approach to dance that encourages creativity, adaptability, and joy. I invite students to meet, move, and dance with something outside of themselves — object, material, form, image, context, another person. This work is suitable for a spectrum of age and ability. My 20 years of experience working in contemporary dance support a curiosity for collaboration, communication and process.

My approach to theatre education is rooted in the belief that young actors deserve the same respect and challenge as professionals. Drawing on experiences from teaching across various countries, I find the universal spark in every student. By meeting them where they are and embracing their unique perspectives, I create a dynamic space where they’re empowered to dive deeply, bringing authenticity and passion to each performance.

I excel at connecting with students through relatable characters and meaningful storytelling, fostering dialogue and reflection in the classroom.

I'm a music producer, songwriter, community & youth worker, and school activator. I've been working in the education sector for 20 years in various capacities. I took a 10 year break from working within the Quebec Education System; but have found myself in a place where I'd love to connect with teachers and students again; especially on the island of Montreal and surrounding regions in Quebec.

In 2022, dance artists Gabrielle Hélène Coulter and Andrée-Anne Giasson founded the École de danse de Gaspé with the goal of getting an entire community dancing! Your teachers are qualified to teach dance at any level.

Laura dedicates her practice in ceramics to artistic creation, education and providing organizational support to artists working in clay. In 2021 she founded atelier clé, a collective ceramics studio, offering membership and classes for all ages and skill levels. As of 2025 it has become a cooperatively governed non-profit fostering meaningful connections through clay, building inclusivity and dismantling class barriers by sharing the medium with new generations and underrepresented communities.

Marc Sauvageau, a word magician, creator of parallel universes, transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, offering a unique perspective on everyday life. Awarded prestigious prizes, including the Gaston-Miron Prize (2022, 2015) and the Passion Award at the Grands Prix de la Culture des Laurentides (2021), he has inspired over 85,000 students since 2007, using performances, theater, poetry, video, and multimedia workshops to spark their creativity and curiosity.

Introduced and taught steelpan programs to Montreal public schools and communities since 1990. Taught at the TDSB while completing a PhD in ethnomusicology at York University. Established a family steelpan school to promote the culture. Family music group, steelpan workshops, lectures on cultural history, authored steelpan textbooks. Excited to teach and share these cultural experiences. My aspirations: that steelpan programs become accredited programs in Montreal public schools like Toronto.

I believe that encouraging creativity and body awareness is fundamental to everyone’s well-being. Exploring the beats and rhythms of music in an integral way, using the body as an instrument in a creative process, the goal is to provide joy, stimulate creativity and promote personal expression. My experience with intergenerational musical activities, grounded in the rich Brazilian choro music tradition gives me the tools for conducted workshops from young children and young adults in the heart.

âpihtawikosisâniskwêw (Métis/ Norwegian/ French/ British) multidisciplinary artist Moe Clark is a 2Spirit singing Thunderbird. She works across diverse disciplines of vocal improvisation, spoken word poetry, storytelling, and music to create meaning that is rooted in personal legacy, ancestral memory and embodied knowledge. Her approach to arts facilitation is participatory, inclusive, and reciprocal, engaging learners through land-based teachings, tools of empowerment, and Indigenous languages.

I am a multi-instrumentalist performer, educator, and improviser. I am rooted in early European music, with a specialization on recorders and other historical wind instruments, the world of modal improvisation through classical North Indian ragas, and in the joyful complexity of Brazilian percussion. For 8 years, I toured as a musician with the Cirque du Soleil show Totem. I have taught students of all ages, from early childhood and family music, to specialized courses for semi-professionals.

Since 2015, Les Brasileirinhos has been working as a cultural bearer promoting Brazilian music and culture through workshops, regular classes, concerts and shows in the province of Quebec. Our mission is to provide the experience of Brazilian popular culture through its different artistic expressions and educate public awareness about cultural diversity. Les Brasileirinhos focuses on offering interactive and fun workshops for all group ages.

Originally from Greece, Anna holds a BA (Honours) in Contemporary Dance and has moved to Montreal since February 2023. During university, Anna found her passion for circus when she started training as a contortionist. She enjoys sharing her experience and believes that art is an essential part of life while movement is a vital aspect of our wellbeing. Through her teaching, she offers students the tools to discover new abilities, develop new skills, while staying present through movement.

In my work, I draw from the inner world of the self, and an experience of change and flow from our connection to the world. I offer ways to embody this through dance and words (both spoken and written). This approach upholds Invention, imagination, empowerment, autonomy and self-determination in students. I have worked with neurotypical and non-neuro typical school students and adults. Disciplines: Choreography, dance, speaking and writing informed by sensation and imagery.

Sheri Pearlman is a clarinetist and educator. She enjoys playing in a variety of ensemble settings, teaching all ages and sharing the joy of music.

I am an artist and art educator specializing in STEAM Education. I use science as a creative prompt to spark the imagination, both in my own creative practice as well as in my educational activities. I direct the SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute’s Artist-in-Residence program and am a doctoral candidate in Art Education at Concordia University. I have led STEAM workshops and curricula in primary schools, high schools, universities, art galleries, and science museums.

MaelSir is a bilingual slam poetry artist with more than a decade of experience as a master of ceremonies, coach and performer, from Toronto to Moncton and even all the way to Paris and Brussels. Mael’Sir has coached 2 years in a row both the “Slam Jeunesse” winners and “Slam Est-du-Québec” finalists. His workshop experience with young adults of "La Sphère", teenagers of the Toronto book fair and children all over New-Brunswick make him a versatile and experienced teaching artist

In my classes, we embark on a dynamic journey fusing art with advocacy through experimental filmmaking. Armed with just mobile devices, we embrace creativity, spontaneity, and collaboration. This distinctive approach is rooted in the belief that creative expression holds the power to amplify the voices of marginalized communities. It's a transformative learning experience that goes beyond the classroom, empowering students to be advocates for meaningful change in society.

I graduated as a professional classical dance performer and as a classical dance teacher; I also added jazz dance and theater to my artistic practice. I obtained a master's degree in dance pedagogy in Montreal. I have many years of experience working with people from 3 to 85 years old in different contexts. Thanks to trainings in Reiki, Mindfulness, Resonance Repatterning among other methods promoting well-being, I take a holistic approach in my teaching, and I adapt it to the students needs.

I am a mixed media visual artist working with cyanotype printmaking techniques. My goal is to inspire experimentation and collaboration, using the magic of art to help students build on their sense of belonging and community. My approach asks guiding questions that weave in experiential learning through art making. I have a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and have facilitated workshops with students in elementary schools, high schools and adults in a variety of school and community settings.
