Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
*A Journey to Brazil - WorkshopIn this workshop, students will be in contact with important Brazilian rhythms and cultural manifestations. The students will learn traditional Brazilian rhythms and chants, experience the most important Brazilian cultural manifestations through singing and dancing, and discover various musical instruments from Brazil (shakers, tambourines, drums, etc).
*A Journey to Brazil - Interactive Performance
Through an interactive musical performance, students will get to know a little about Brazilian music, rhythms, and instruments. They will be part of this performance by playing rhythms with body percussion and shakers, moving with Brazilian dances learned during the performance, and singing some important melodic phrases from Brazilian folk songs. Additionally, they will learn some rhythmic games played by Brazilian children.
