Are you an artist who wants to connect with schools and facilitate engaging artistic experiences for students? Or do you know an artist who would be excited about this opportunity?

ArtistsInspire is recruiting new artists for our roster of teaching artists. ArtistsInspire provides opportunities for artists to:

  • Connect with schools through funded grants
    • Receive a 1500$ for 6-10 hours of workshop facilitation, plus an addition 1500$ for a One Day Event grant
  • Help students develop creativity while showcasing your professional practice

  • Build your teaching artist portfolio and gain valuable experience in educational settings

Regional Artists are especially encouraged to apply! We’re actively seeking artists living outside the Greater Montreal area to serve schools in their communities. We also strongly encourage applications from BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, and underrepresented artists.

Interested Artists are encouraged to review our Teaching Artist Roster to see the variety of Artists already involved in the project!

Which artists are eligible:

Eligible Artists must identify as members of the English-speaking Communities of Quebec. Experience facilitating in education settings is required for working in schools. Having listened to educators about what is essential to this program’s success, to qualify for the ArtistsInspire School Grants Program, Artists must already have experience as facilitators of hands-on creative experiences with students and teachers in elementary and/or secondary schools.

How to apply:

You can find our application form here.

Application deadline: July 31st, 2026 at midnight.
