I am a passionate storyteller and artist dedicated to creating inclusive narratives for children. My art practice centers on themes of empathy and diversity, and the importance of understanding different perspectives. I engage with schools through interactive workshops and resources that promote understanding and inclusion. I excel at connecting with students through relatable characters and meaningful storytelling, fostering dialogue and reflection in the classroom.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

During my workshops, I create an engaging and supportive environment where students can explore their creativity and develop a deeper understanding of inclusion and empathy. Each workshop is tailored to the specific needs of the participants but typically includes activities such as storytelling, character creation, and collaborative art projects. One example is the "Create Your Own Character" workshop, where students draw characters that reflect their own experiences and challenges. We discuss the importance of diverse representation and how stories can be powerful tools for understanding different perspectives. I guide students in using drawing, writing, and group discussions to bring their characters to life, encouraging them to express their thoughts and emotions, and fostering socio-emotional learning. Students also participate in activities that simulate the challenges neurodivergent children or those with disabilities may face at school.
