Body Music is making sound with your whole body: voice, movement, and percussion. Students explore ways of making sounds with the body through call & response, improvisation games, and songs. The music interaction equally engages students’ imagination: body percussion patterns imitate the morning routines of animals in the forest; improvised beats illustrate honking cars in traffic; melodies trace the trajectory of invisible balls through the air. Each activity is constructed to engage students musically and personally.
