FOUNDATIONS OF B-BOYING with Bboyizm Dance Company

Members of Bboyizm Dance Company transmit their passion and respect for the history and art of street
dances, educating participants on the roots and various techniques of breaking. This workshop gives
participants and teachers a unique chance to learn the fundamentals of B-boying and hip-hop culture, in a safe
way, from dedicated professional dancers who have a passion for teaching.

Themes: This workshop provides an opportunity for discussion about belonging in Quebec in the general sense and as
a member of the BIPOC community.

Materials: Clear and open space for dancing, audio system

Grade Levels: Elementary Cycle 2, 3, Secondary Grades 7-11
