Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

The Evolution of B-Boying - Performance

B-boying and B-girling (Street dance), born in the early 1970s, is an integral component of contemporary black history and hip-hop culture. This dynamic street dance now has a significant international following and reputation. Dancer-choreographer Crazy Smooth brings together some of Canada’s best street dancers to present a show that will amaze and inspire students and teachers alike while educating them on the evolution of the dance, its culture and music.

Foundations of B-Boying - Workshop

Members of Bboyizm Dance Company transmit their passion and respect for the history and art of street dances, educating students on the roots and various techniques of breaking. This workshop gives students and teachers a unique chance to learn the fundamentals of B-boying and hip-hop culture, in a safe way, from dedicated professional dancers who have a passion for teaching.
