COLLECTIVE MURAL with Emily Read

Turn those blank school walls into something beautiful and meaningful! This is an inclusive experience where
everyone contributes to create a collective mural. The inspiration comes from the students, I unify their ideas
into a composition and then guide them to create the mural. All ages, skill levels and abilities can take part.
The artwork is a permanent display that students will be proud of. It can also spread messages of hope,
community, values, etc. This is not just limited to walls – I have done projects where students paint on shipping
containers, tables, chairs and bulletin boards. Let’s transform your school together!

Materials: Paint (all other supplies provided by artist)

Grade Levels: Kindergarten, Elementary Cycle 1, 2, 3, Secondary Grades 7-11
