As an artist, I explore the complex relationship between humans and nature. To help the vulnerable and the voiceless is what motivates me. For example, my current series “Not So Hopeless” represents successful initiatives saving endangered animals from extinction.

As a teacher, I get a lot of satisfaction out of guiding students through expressing themselves through art. I believe in developing unique and engaging projects that motivate students to create their own unique works of art.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Specialization: Painting, Drawing, Murals, Collective Projects

Examples of workshops designed to empower students and to create a sense of togetherness.

1) Collective Mural
Socially distanced option: students create sections individually, which are all combined together on a wall to create one unified image.

2) Music Inspired Art
Students created art inspired by a song of their choice. Option to use light tablets to compose and layer images and text.

3) Nature Garden Banner
Students each painted a palette, which all came together to create a rainbow banner that spelled "Welcome to our Westmount Park Garden".

4) Pop Up Book
Students created their own pop up books with their own unique characters and stories.
