A JOURNEY TO BRAZIL with Les Brasileirinhos

In this workshop, students will be in contact with important Brazilian rhythms and culture. They will learn traditional Brazilian rhythms and chants, experience the most important Brazilian cultural manifestations through singing and dancing, and discover various musical instruments from Brazil (shakers, tambourines, drums, etc). Additionally, they will learn some traditional rhythm games played by Brazilian children.

Materials: All material will be provided by Les Brasileirinhos. Enough space to move is necessary.

Grade Levels: Kindergarten, Elementary Cycle 1, 2, 3, Secondary Grades 7-11
