Using just our hands and imaginations, we can create original characters and stories. The traditions of finger and glove puppets are some of the oldest in the world. From Punch and Judy to YouTube videos, this puppetry style has a lot to offer. In this workshop, participants will learn about the many possibilities of finger and glove style puppets, creating simple hands and heads with paper and tape. Participants will practice manipulating their characters on screen, improvising story, dialogue and gesture as short live puppet shows.
