Stories and News:
I am a LANDARTIST passionate about getting people to remember their own creativity through the discovery of spaces and sculptures made out of material from Nature. I believe that creativity is a fantastic mean to enrich life, feel and share emotions, and create extraordinary opportunities to connect with one another. I encourage collective processes where listening skills, patience, common goals, technical abilities and pride in results are developed together. I share my experience and passion.
Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
I invite my participants to experience all the stages that lead to the creation of monumental spaces and sculptures done with material from Nature. The results can represent animals, become outdoor classes or be total abstracts. They often become public sculptures that will last several seasons. Depending on the context, the number of classes and the time available, the project can include discussions around design and ideas, elaboration of sketches, collection of material, construction of 2D and 3D shapes, the addition of details and decorations and a public or private launch. Key techniques will include sketching, planting, weaving, knotting and assembling a variety of material. Participants will learn to take into account an existing space with its dimensions, scale, access, current and intended use, as well as other senses such as smell and sound. They will develop listening skills, patience, spatial appreciation, common goals, a pride in a collective process.Video
