I began performing regularly as a stand-up comedian in 2004 and in French since 2011. I have toured Canada and the US extensively and have done 2 album recordings. I am also a very interactive host onstage which translates to my outgoing nature behind the curtain. My goal in schools is to demonstrate that all students' thoughts have value and with some encouragement help them realize they can share unique thoughts and original experiences through a fun platform like stand-up comedy.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Over a series of classes, I help students generate ideas through creative writing exercises. As the series unfolds, their very own comedy profile is built and through various examples they learn how to structure their bits and pieces into a presentable comedy act. The participants emerge from the workshops with a greater understanding of analytical thinking, enhanced public speaking skills as well as developing greater empathy for others. This is perfect for any classroom that wants to build chemistry and wonderful for teachers who want to learn more about their students and help develop stronger rapports.
