I am a lifetime Artist and have been a Professional Graphic Designer, Community Arts Educator and Coordinator for Children and Adults for ten years. I’ve worked for several years with diverse populations. By inspiring students to act creatively with mixed media, and by having teachers and community members encourage them throughout the creative process, I will contribute to their understanding of the expression of the medium.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

I offer art projects that have purpose, with concepts that give meaning to a finished piece and that benefit our diverse community and each of its members. Most projects I develop are designed with answers to questions such as, how it will function when finished and give deeper meaning, or teach a person, through the techniques needed to complete each art project. On a given project, we will learn the message and I will help guide the art technique to achieve the goal. Students will have creative space to use their learnt art techniques afterwards. An art project can be tweaked to fit the teachers' needs according to the curricula designed. I keep the art projects fun, intelligent, cost-efficient and organic, in which an individual student and community can interact with the art (murals and installations) and spark conversation and productivity in response to the students' art within their community.
