I am Auro Moura, a musician and educator. I hold a Master's degree in Music and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education (UFPR, Brazil). I have worked in various educational settings, including schools, daycares, social projects, and music training programs for teachers. As a musician, singer, and composer, I have contributed to many albums and projects. Currently, I am the director of Les Brasileirinhos and I compose songs and soundtracks for films and advertising.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

In my workshops, I offer a versatile approach to music education, covering various aspects such as singing, percussion, songwriting, recording, composition, technology, and more. I deeply understand the impact of music on teenagers and their need for self-expression, which is why I am passionate about teaching music.

I have interest and experience in teaching the following subjects:

*Body percussion
*Bucket drumming
*Songwriting and music composition
*Audio recording
*Music production techniques

In my classes and workshops, students learn through a hands-on approach in a playful environment. My goal is to create a space where students have the opportunity to participate creatively, play, experiment, compose music, record it, and, most importantly, learn while enjoying themselves. The focus of my workshops is on the process, but by the end of the workshops, we will be able to showcase some very special results.

One-Day Event Description

Interactive & Collective Songwriting

In this One Day event, students and teacher will collectively write and produce a song from start to finish. Together, we will write the lyrics, chose the instruments and rhythms, create and record melodies and harmonies. At the end of this workshop, students will have a finished song that they helped create.

0-30 students per group

If possible, it would be good to have a projector connected to my computer so students can see what I'm doing. This would allow bigger groups to participate in the workshop.
