COLLECTIVE MURAL – BRINGING MAGIC AND COLOR INTO SPACE with Millie Caron
This participatory mural workshop invites participants of all ages and skill levels to take part in the collective creation of a mural artwork. Rooted in a naïve, storytelling aesthetic, the workshop treats color as a form of everyday magic, a way of transforming a blank wall into a shared narrative that belongs to everyone who touches it. No prior artistic experience is required: the emphasis is on participation over perfection, and on the wall as a gathering point rather than a finished object handed down from a single artist. Through gesture, color, and collaborative mark-making, the workshop aims to conjure a sense of collective enchantment — turning the act of painting into a ritual of belonging, and the finished mural into a lasting trace of the community that made it.
