SPOKEN WORD IN A CIRCLE: FIND YOUR VOICE with Kym Dominique-Ferguson
The Circle serves as an equalizing space where everyone has the right to speak, be heard, and feel acknowledged. It fosters unity, strength, and freedom, allowing participants to express their full humanity—both joy and vulnerability. In this safe environment, individuals confront themselves with kindness and love. Participants are all considered spoken word artists, regardless of skill levels; comparison is discouraged. This workshop emphasizes that each voice is valid, focusing on personal growth and expression rather than competition. The circle nurtures respect, support, and connection among all members, creating a collaborative artistic experience.
