I am a composer, singer, writer, performer and educator working across music, theatre and storytelling. For over 20 years, I have created music and arts programs for children and young people. In my teaching practice, I lean into moments where ideas become tangible through-lines: a hook becomes a song, a thought becomes a story, and a voice becomes a character. I bring that sense of discovery into my work with schools, creating space for young people to find an artistic voice and make meaning.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

My workshops centre on songwriting, musical theatre and vocal technique, drawing on my work as a composer, singer, writer and performer. In songwriting, we might begin with a feeling, an image, a lyric, a rhythm, a melody, or an idea drawn from the curriculum. Teachers can communicate what they are studying with me in advance, allowing us to explore cross-curricular connections and transform classroom learning into something creative and tangible. Students explore how words and music shape one another, developing ideas through melody, lyrics, rhythm, harmony and structure until something begins to take form. Musical theatre workshops bring together character, text, music and performance. Students might work with a song or scene, explore different interpretations, or create their own characters and moments. Vocal technique workshops explore breath, resonance, placement, diction, musicality and healthy, expressive singing.
