I love to ignite the creative flow in others. Depending on the story to convey, I will sculpt, sew, paint, dance, animate...
I am inspired by nature. I either like to be in it, to make choices that respect it or work with it as a supply or prop.
I am looking forward to being able to collaborate with teachers and students, to add color to their practice.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

-Indoor or public, collaborative community murals. Working together as a group to come up with the message, goals, design, and painting of a large scale painting directly on a wall or on wood, metal, vinyl or canvas that will be hung on a wall.

-Ceramic Sculpting techniques (air-hardening or kiln-fired clay) and supplies collected from nature. (If time and location permits, it can be combined with time to forage for supplies in a forest) These workshops emphasize creating with ZERO waste, non-toxic supplies and being in harmony with nature.

One-Day Event Description

Dance & Paint (Collaboration with Kerwin Barrington)

"Dance & Paint is a creative experience guided by two professional artists from different disciplines: visual art and contemporary dance. Throughout this workshop, the participants are prompted to leave colors and marks on stretched surfaces through abstract expressionist painting techniques in dialogue with exploring structured and improvised dance movements.
The painted marks are made with an attention to rhythm in time to the music, dynamic qualities and by capturing their partner's body and movements. At the end of this workshop, the participants will have a trace of their collaborative creation to hang on a chosen surface in the school, a reminder of an experience where they moved and created together."

0-30 students per group
