BREAK THE ICE! with David Michel
David’s workshops are designed to introduce participants to the world of breaking and make them curious about it. His approach is characterized by respectful, humorous learning. During his workshops, there is room for individual and team choreography, as well as spontaneous improvisation of the moves learned.
For David, music also plays an essential role in his workshops, and he attaches particular importance to it.
Open-mindedness and different approaches are encouraged, so that everyone can express themselves in their own way.
Themes: The workshop provides an opportunity for discussion about belonging in Quebec as a member of the BIPOC community.
Materials: Audio system, also if there is a projector to view some videos related to the workshop and camera to record the workshop if needed.
Grade Levels: Elementary Cycles 1,2,3, Secondary Grades 7-11
