Marie is a warm, passionate and enthusiastic artist. She holds a Masters in music education combine with many years of experience teaching. She is a member of the Répertoire des Artistes à l’école and ArtistsInspire. She plays in Chicouté, who was chosen by CAM for the 2025-2026 Maisons de la culture tour.
Recipient of several grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Canadian Arts Council, Marie has performed all over the world and can be heard on various recordings.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Marie exposes children to the beauty of Celtic music, integrating melodies, stories about the instruments, and the history surrounding the evolution of Celtiic music through the eras. She can also expose children to Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Music. She loves sharing her passion for traditional songs and dances by teaching them, and getting her pupils to live through a concrete experience of oral musical traditions from Ireland, Scotland , Québec and France.
