I’m an interdisciplinary artist who works with sculpture, woodworking, collage, and found materials. Curiosity about ordinary objects and spaces, and what happens when we look at them a little differently, is at the heart of my practice. Making things by hand creates space for curiosity, experimentation, and unexpected ideas. Creativity has the power to change how we see the world, and sometimes, to see possibilities where we didn’t see them before.
Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
My workshops are hands-on, curious, and playful. I encourage students to look closely and experiment with familiar objects and materials in new ways. Through making, they explore storytelling and imagination while developing their own creative worlds.Activities may include sculpture, model-making, drawing, collage, and creative writing using accessible and recycled materials. Workshops can involve building miniature worlds and environments, transforming everyday objects, or creating sculptures that tell stories and communicate ideas.
Workshops can be adapted for different ages, interests, and classroom contexts.
I have facilitated creative and technical workshops for university students at Concordia University and previously designed and delivered visual arts workshops for elementary students in Nova Scotia.
