I am an artist originally from St-Lazare, QC. In my personal art practice, I am primarily an oil painter who paints from old family photographs and memories. Since 2021, I have worked as a workshop animator and cultural mediator at Stewart Hall, a historic cultural center in Pointe-Claire, where I have served the public by creating and facilitating art workshops. My goal in working with children is to give them a creative outlet and a safe space to explore their ideas and build confidence.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

My workshops focus on 2d art techniques such as painting, drawing, collage, and printmaking, to show students new materials or new ways of working with materials they may already be familiar with. Though we will follow a structured lesson plan, I let the kids make aesthetic decisions at every step so that the artwork is a reflection of their ideas. I emphasize self-expression and that creativity has no wrong answers. Whenever possible, the projects are mixed media so that students have the chance to try many techniques within one project. The workshops remains flexible depending on the teacher's priorities.
