BUILDING COMMUNITY WITH PLAYBACK THEATRE with Laurie Dumont-Bal
Discover an introduction to the art of sharing personal stories to build a sense of community and belonging! Playback Theatre is a style of interactive performance in which audience members tell personal stories from their lives and they watch as the performers “play it back” on the spot using improvisation and specific Playback Theatre forms. The students will get to share and enact each others’ personal stories, in a space where collaboration, active listening, empathy, communication and creative thinking skills are key!
