Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
As a musician specializing in percussion and Brazilian music, I have both interest and experience teaching a variety of subjects, including:-Brazilian percussion
- Body percussion and movement
- Bucket drumming
- Brazilian folk songs, rhythms, and dances
In my classes and workshops, students learn music by making music. I create a playful, interactive environment where students can participate creatively, improvising and composing their own short pieces.
As part of the one-day event, I offer two performance options:
- Brazilian Music Concert: Performed by two musicians, this concert introduces Brazilian rhythms, instruments, and dances. The performance is highly interactive, with students participating throughout.
- Storytelling with Live Music: In collaboration with an actress, I present a storytelling performance with live music and sound effects.
