I am a working artist - specializing in painting and drawing - with over 20 years experience. I started off as a muralist. My studio practice focuses on paintings of people in costume.

My goal as an art facilitator is to demystify art and art making in a fun, supportive and inclusive environment. I teach basic drawing and painting techniques, while fostering each individual's unique vision.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Drawing and painting are learnable skills that foster visual literacy and creative problem solving. These workshops are conducive for online or in-person learning. They can be created the media of your choosing for individual, collaborative projects and murals. I am happy to work with your ideas - let's collaborate!

Drawing without looking: learn to see through touch and receive a much needed break from “left brain” / screen time activities.
- close up drawings of hands
- draw the contents of your backpack/purse/pocket.

Cosmos: exploring outer and inners spaces: Learn light, shadow and composition by drawing the night sky – planets, stars, rockets, UFOs...
- Night Sky modular mural
- City Scapes: Night sky comes down to earth with cubes and linear perspective.

Zoom Portraits: Use contour drawing and negative space techniques to make portrait drawing fun and rewarding.
