For over 20 years I have facilitated people at various stages of life to express themselves through painting and drawing. As an artist, I explore the many facets of selfhood in relation to one's community, to society and to the natural world. I create murals and other collaborative projects with artists and non-artists.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Drawing and painting are learnable skills that foster visual literacy and creative problem solving. They can be created the media of your choosing for individual, collaborative projects and murals. I am happy to work with your ideas - let's collaborate!

Portraits/ Self Portraits - Explore many facets of selfhood and community:

1. What is my "superpower"? My classmate's "superpower"?
2. What is my "spirit animal"? Empathy with nature.
3. Inner/Outer Self Portrait. Using colour to express emotions.

Connect to sense of touch and the environment through drawing:

1. Drawing without looking: learn to see through touch and receive a much needed break from “left brain” / screen time activities.
- slow down and and explore shapes, patterns and textures of leaves, flowers, insects.
- continue with colour, texture, create large scale drawings or collaborative mural.
