As multidisciplinary artist and fully believer in Art as a healing and empowering tool, I am blessed with the opportunity to design and facilitate the creation of big scale community murals and workshops like Golden and dynamic mandalas, recycling jewelry, colouring experiences with schools and communities. My commitment and the scope of my projects as a professional community engaged artist and muralist since 2013 made me wordy of the 2021 Peter Honeywell Ottawa Arts Council Award.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

My main goal through the creation of my murals or the facilitation of my workshops is to offer each student the opportunity to realize how creative and unique each of them is. There is no good or bad, no right or wrong in art, every creation or way of expression is perfect as it is because it is "our own way to see the world or express our feelings".
I encourage students to be bold, take risks, solve problems In a creative way and empower themselves through the artistic creation processes.

As a Community Arts Educator I truly believe that the connection that I help establish between the workshops’ participants and the arts is one of the most important tools for individual and community wellness and healing. I have developed and delivered more than 300 arts education workshops and projects in schools and communities in Ottawa engaging close to 7000 participants including students from KG to G12, adults and seniors from all backgrounds and genders. Helping members of the community to explore the arts and showcase their talents has been the most rewarding job I have ever have as artist.
