Spring/Summer 2020 ArtistsInspire Online Workshops were a Great Success! Let’s Keep Up the Momentum.

From Toy Theatre to Doodle Challenge, Everyone can Dance to Message in a Bottle, Spoken Word to Comedy Improv, we were delighted to welcome participants of all ages to our Spring/Summer 2020 Online Workshops. Creativity brings us together: connections were made between children, youth and adults meeting for the first time, as well as strengthened between family members and friends who have known each other for years. ArtistsInspire continues to support teachers, learners and families in this year of many changes, inspiring our children and youth through art education virtually and in-person where possible.
Uncertain about virtual learning? See below for comments from teachers, family members and children & youth about their experiences in ArtistsInspire Online Workshops.

What do participants say about our online workshops?

  • “Superb animation.”
  • “Your approach to people was very relaxed, open & sincere. Your artists’ love of art shows in how they interacted with everyone on zoom.”
  • “Thank you for offering such an amazing class on line.”
  • “My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. It really rekindled my 6 year old daughter’s interest in creating art. It introduced her to new ideas and creative ways. She was really excited to share her art with other people. When one of her pieces was shown amongst a slide show she shouted out, “Hey, that’s mine!”. She thought that was really fun. The other day she asked, “When can I do more?”
  • “This year my husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and my 75th birthday. Your workshop has encouraged me to reflect and appreciate all the everyday things that make my life special. Thank you.”
  • “Thank you for bringing something constant, something joyful and meaningful into our home during this otherwise difficult time. It really has been something we continue to look forward to.”
  • “This was my favourite workshop.”
  • “I liked learning to make things.”
  • “It was really good, I really liked it. It was fun and a little complicated. I learned a lot.”
  • “I really liked the workshop. I got to learn a lot of new techniques that I didn’t know before.”
