TIME TO ACT with Mark Krupa
Through fun improvisation exercises that promote spontaneity, creativity, team-work, and enhance self-esteem, students learn the basics of acting for the stage, TV, & film. Students also learn the basics of scene-work as they are given the opportunity to create and perform a fictional scene for the screen that will be recorded with feedback. Through active discussions, students gain insight into what it is like to be an actor, while exploring the building blocks of storytelling. This workshop is adaptable for students at all levels.
Themes: The workshop has some clear elements of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts obviously…, and Mathematics)
