STORYTELLING; FROM FAIRY TALES TO HOW? AND WHY? with Patti Warnock (Regional Artist: ETSB)

The age old art of storytelling; Be it, an original story, a fractured fairy tale or a retelling; Students will learn to make use of body language and facial expressions to lift their characters off the written page and bring them to life in an oral presentation.

The use of storyboards and playful exercises build confidence in both written and oral skills and highlight individual strengths and talents!

Materials: Paper, pencils, camera & recording device optional.

Grade Levels: Elementary cycle 1, 2, 3
