STORYTELLING; FROM FAIRY TALES TO HOW? AND WHY? with Patti Warnock (Regional Artist: ETSB)
Inspired by age old storytelling; Students will create their own original stories and storyboards, then using storytelling techniques, they will learn to make use of body language and facial expressions to lift their characters off the written page and bring them to life in an oral presentation. Playful exercises highlight individual strengths and talents and build students’ self-confidence in both written and oral skills.
Materials: Paper, pencils, camera & recording device optional.
