Svens Telemaque ranks as one of the most in-demand speakers regarding youth empowerment today. After multiple arrests and various feats with death, he abandoned familiarity and a life of drug trafficking to start anew. Since relocating to Montreal in 2007, Svens has co-founded L'art Selah, a poetry collective which provides a platform for writers and infuses listeners with hope. In 2014 he released his first book entitled Pen of a Ready Writer Vol.1 and has been featured on major networks.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Our end goal is to empower your students to do more than familiarize themselves with creative writing and gain confidence in using poetry as another channel of expression. Together, we will learn of its origins, discover the fundamentals behind producing it and learn how poetry can heal, entertain, advocate and assist us in expressing our deepest sentiments. Students will learn how to convey their ideas with power and poise. Sessions can be tailored to any themes you may be covering in the classroom, and our pace will advance according to your student's needs.
