Hi! I’m an actor, improviser, writer, comedian, TEDx speaker and instructor. I’ve been performing improv for 16 years, and teaching it for 10 to adults, teens and children.

With 3,000+ live performances and 2,700+ students taught, my practice is rooted in learning by doing. I create playful, inclusive workshops where students practise listening, self-expression, connection and taking creative risks in real time. My responsive, hands-on approach makes learning playful, practical and FUN.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Skill-building doesn’t have to feel like work. It gets to be FUN!

Using applied improv, I create tailored, playful, hands-on experiences where participants practise “Yes, and,” listening, presence, collaboration, empathy and creative risk-taking in a psychologically safe, judgment-free environment. We embrace mistakes, surprises + unexpected ideas.

A typical session:
WARM-UP: Physical, vocal and focus games build connection and introduce the theme.
GUIDED EXERCISES: Pair, small-group and whole-group exercises with active side-coaching.
APPLY: Exercises build progressively towards more autonomy to create, collaborate and experiment.
REFLECT: Brief discussion connects the experience to the learning goal and beyond.

Workshops are adapted in real time to the group’s age, experience, needs and energy.

Recent workshops: Improv Foundations; Storytelling; Character Exploration; Physicality & Environment; Naturalism; Improv for Sketch Writing; Improv for Public Speaking; Permission to Play
