I am a live instrument producer, mix engineer, singer-songwriter, holistic artist developer with teaching experience, plus a neuro-holistic trauma, voice and empowerment coach. I merge creativity and holistic practices to understand emotions and identity via artistic exploration. An inclusion advocate since 2009, I create awareness and am a voice for minority groups (ex: girls, LGBTQ, differently-abled, etc.) I am a volunteer at Rock Camp for Girls and Gender Non-Conforming Youth Montreal.
Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
I offer a variety of music business and creativity topics (details at www.PurnaMusic.com under "Artist Developer.")With a holistic approach, a range of workshops can be offered:
- Intrinsic Core Feelings: music, movement, memories, and visualizing to understand our most wanted feelings in life, and how they guide our decisions
- Identities: why the landscape of music needs diversity now more than ever and understanding diverse needs
- Creative Writing, Story Telling, Songwriting (lyrics): exercises using the five senses to write a story based on personal experience, and how to read publicly with confidence
- Grounding with Music: connecting to our bodies using the five senses (ex: Solfeggio scale, acoustic music, dance, breathwork, essential oils, etc.)
- Musique Concrete Soundscape: recording outdoor and indoor sounds in small groups; leading the mixing as one group
- COVID19 Musique Concrete: each student records and sends one indoor sound to turn a tough time into a positive one
