Leti&Lee share an interest for movement and personal care. They combine their tools in physical theatre, art history and contemporary dance to their joint experience as facilitators. Lee has worked both as a professional dancer and carer of people with cognitive and physical challenges. Leti has assisted people with learning disabilities in "sensing" visual art through their bodies. We introduce elements of rhythm, shape and spatial directions in our multifaceted workshops.
Creative Approach and Experiences OfferedOur sessions aim to develop a sense of relaxation and confidence in relation to motor skills. We guide a gentle warm-up, a series of individual and group exercises, short choreography and cool down.
We aim to focus on tension-release to heighten sensation, to increase body awareness as well as physical response to one's surroundings.
Our exercises will gently encourage qualities such as stability, breathing, flow and grounding and coordination.
We use music with tonal shifts specifically created/selected to engage participants.
Personalised attention will always be possible as there will be two workshop leaders in the room at all times. We are excited to work with educators to better follow participants at their own pace.
Workshop series available.
