Letizia draws from her experience as cultural mediator to facilitate access to movement, an to bridge dance to other art forms. She has introduced movement and dance in community centres, museums and galleries (Phi Foundation/MBAM), residences, kindergardens and migrants centres. She draws inspiration from history of dance, visual arts and architecture.

Letizia has studied performance in the UK. She works collaboratively with an architect to devise performance in response to a chosen place.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Kindergarden, ages 4 - 5:
- Seasons (4 - 8 workshops): To explore our own way of expressing the change of seasons through the body, introducing notions of rhythm and movement in space, solo and in relation to others. Each session is concluded by learning a movement from Pina Bausch’s choreography.

Cycles 1, 2,3: 3 workshops min. on:
- Sensing Sculpture: To use materials and sculpting processes to explore ways of moving and movement quality
- Sculpting Space: To explore physically carving, trailing and creating tableaux
- Position, Shape, Angles: To use shapes as a stimulus to explore 2D/3D movement, turns/angles, rotation.

CEGEP:
- BodySpaces: To introduce collaborative practices across Drama, Fine Arts and Dance. Over the sessions, students explore alternative modalities of production using physical response and visual elements. Practitioners working with methodologies akin to the ones explored are introduced as inputs for exercises and to contextualize this approach.
