I am a queer writer from Richmond, Quebec. I received my Master's in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh, and I write poetry and fiction. I graduated in 2020, my school year bisected by the pandemic in March, resulting in my finishing my dissertation (a manuscript of poetry) in Quebec. During my school year in Scotland, I lost my uncle, which led to me writing primarily about his life. As a result, my work spans heartbreak, grief, frustration, anger, and a search for peace.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

In a workshop with me, participants will read and analyze poetry together, as a way to situate our brains and get into a creative mindset. Then we will explore our own ideas through some writing prompts, and if anyone wishes, they can share what they come up with.
There also would be a consistent and open discussion, to allow for the countless directions each poem and idea could go in.
I would love to use these workshops to explore, express and release a variety of feelings that will have pent up over the last couple of years especially— frustration, sadness, anger, and confusion. Everything is on the table! And we will talk about why all of it matters!
