Creative Approach and Experiences Offered

Earth-Art
Visual art inspired by nature, using natural resources.
Dyan guides students in the creation of personal art based on their experience with nature, using renewable resources from the Earth while teaching respect for the environment.

Puppets and People
Through interactive storytelling, Dyan encourages students to participate in a puppet production as a gateway towards learning about character development, plot, backdrop design, simple costume design while creating their own puppet show.

Under the Big Top
The circus arts program offers students the opportunity to learn the circus arts at their own pace while respecting their individual abilities and skills. Students will work together to create skits that will be presented at the end of the program. Skills taught include juggling (clubs, rings, balls, scarves), floor acrobatics, hand-to-hand, tightrope, diablo, juggling sticks, spinning plates, Rollo bolo, clowning, improvisation, unicycle and stilt walking.
