• I'm interested in STRENGTHENING IMAGINATION on social & private levels; empowering others to get comfortable with creativity, using their hands, expressing themselves & understanding concepts.
• With 30 years of teaching, gallery & environmental installations & 20 large-scale public commissions; I introduce learners to a range of ideas about: art, public space, "agency" as a caring citizen, identity, belonging, social change, memory, future dreams, visioning, communicating, plans & budgets.

Creative Approach and Experiences Offered
• We begin with a short intro to “art in public places” & how big projects often require work with STEM teams & school-skills like; composition, reflection, problem-solving, presenting & other transferable abilities learned in sport, play, friendship & Nature.• Individuals start by learning how to manipulate beautiful materials.
• Lots of design & technical options allow students to go at their own pace, exploring personal styles & interests.
• Collaborative decisions guide the assembly of their unique creations into a large piece(s) of permanent art; 2D or 3D.
• Linking the class experience to real-life situations; girls & boys see into other jobs & learn how/why artists work with engineers, architects, city planners, ITC, industrial fabricators, truckers & crane operators.
• The curious, or early finishers, can watch my slideshow.
• Themes are adaptable to suit social, emotional or physical needs of the environment.
• Create take-home pieces with leftover supplies.
